I am a transplanted Brooklynite and longtime Seattle resident. I came to Seattle after getting a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Brooklyn College and a Master’s degree from Cornell. A few years as a part-time philosophy lecturer convinced me that I needed to get a real job! Stints for Seven Gables Theatres, as a sales rep for two radio stations and finally in child development research at the UW lead me to where I am now- real estate! (It’s too complicated to explain. It has to do with the philosophy degree!)

I’ve been a broker for Gerrard, Beattie & Knapp for more than 25 years specializing in all city neighborhoods and the occasional listing or sale on the eastside. Lots of my clients are repeat clients because I tends to work with people I truly like and enjoy (Maybe that’s the Brooklyn influence!)

My basic philosophy of real estate is simple – to represent my clients’ interest, whether they be buyer or seller, to the utmost and at the highest level, both ethically and practically. That involves maintaining thorough knowledge of the local real estate market, establishing and maintaining constant contact with other real estate agents, continually honing my negotiating skills, and updating my real estate knowledge through continuing education.

I have represented buyers looking for their first house or condo and sellers of their dream house when it is time to downsize to a smaller house or condo. I frequently work with other GBK brokers to guarantee smooth sailing through the whole buying or selling process and constant coverage of the client’s interest.
